David C. R. Nash

A Multi-Genre Wide Novelist of Fiction and Non-Fiction

Fusing decades of work in a variety of fields from  computer systems analysis to game design, David brings his passion for accuracy, science, and fantasy to his writing. Beginning with short articles in magazines such as Judges Guild Journal, Pegasus, and, The Dragon in the late 70's, he went into business working on technical manuals, detailing computer game engine structures, and eventually into writing full novels. His novels reflect his eclectic interests, ranging from epic fantasy and science fiction, to historical fiction and murder mystery.

However, no matter the genre, David brings a sense of adventure and a fast pace to all his stories.

Writing

I love to tell stories and imagine all the worlds that could be - good and bad. In my work I try to find ways to help people relax and just enjoy the imagination they were all born with.

Reading

I am an avid reader of sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, litRPG, cozy mysteries, and any book that offers to help me improve myself.

Gaming

I enjoy a wide variety of computer games. I especially like exploratory adventure games, MMORPG's, fantasy role playing games, and VR.

Dance / Performance

I have been an instructor of ballroom dance for over twenty years and I was privileged to be a profressional dancer with The Balliamo Dance Company in the recent past. I love dance and dancers, finding them to be a fun and free spirited group that provides inspiration (and a bit of exercise!)

Music

Two of my hobbies are playing guitar and piano / harpsichord. I'm not very proficient with either, although I did earn a bit of cash in my college days playing with people who were much better than I was.

Editorials

Along with several different careers I have pursued, I also spent some time as a professional book reviewer. I found the task enjoyable and I still find myself reviewing my own books - long after they were published!
